Geoff Marshall is a friend of ours who left Charleston, SC, earlier this month on a 48-state road trip. His plan: Create a documentary about the United States, his adopted home, before he returns to his native U.K. On June 29, in Greensboro, NC, he woke to find that about $6,000 worth of video and computing equipment had been stolen from his car.
We don’t want his American story to end this way. We’d like to show him a better side of who we are.
